Habitat operates a store selling donated new and used (recycled) building materials and everything else that makes a house a home. Volunteers are needed for sales, pricing, donation pick-up and other tasks.
What is it?
The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a unique year round fundraiser where you can purchase quality new and used items at excellent prices and help Habitat for Humanity in this mission of providing affordable housing to those in need without picking up a hammer!
Where do the profits go?
One hundred percent of the profits from our ReStore are put back into Habitat for Humanity of Camden County. With this money we can help to build more safe, decent, and affordable homes for needy families in our community.
How do I donate?
We gladly accept your new & slightly used tax deductible donations at any time throughout the year. We can accept household items such as books, linens, kitchenware, and home decorating items. We also accept furniture, building materials, appliances, tools, lawn equipment, and many other items. All you have to do is call us and we will be happy to help you!
- Shopping in the ReStore can save you 40-70% on the items you buy.
- ReStore diverts thousands of tons of usable materials from local landfills.
- Proceeds from the Habitat ReStore are used to fund Habitat’s mission to eliminate inadequate housing throughout our community.
- You can sometimes find unusual items for home improvement and renovations at discounted prices.
We need volunteers for sales floor, assistance with load and unload materials for customers, and help with processing donated materials and supplies.
